A Site of Art, Thought and Life

The thesis I wrote for my postgraduate year in Human Ecology. I explore the psychodynamics of the personality, and try to expand this view into a vision of sociological analysis. In the end I question the setting up of rules and a collective mind for the whole world, contrasting this with the vision of a holistically functioning enlightened society.
In the end, it is an attempt to contrast a neurotic world of the mind with an enlightened planet of the heart.
This is the only writing with quotations and references. It seeks to envision a way of living sustainably with the world that does not testify to the predictable dysfunctionalities of an ego mind set.
This text explores the interdependency of crime and the law from a basic understanding of psychodynamics and the capitalist system.
A small and modest tekst, mixing meditation and shamanism with budo and the death of the self. How to explore the inner universe and come home from it in the pure and simple world around. And about the opening of our eyes after all of the blinding of the ego. Fun !
A very short note on our estrangement unto the capitalist Other, and a plea for the end of obedience and self-restriction. A plea for revolution, meditation, anarchy and the 99%.
De magie van
psychoanalyse
If you have regularly visited this page, you will have noticed that I have taken down multiple files and links to ebooks and paperbacks lately.

That is because I have published these several essays written over the last two years in one mega mega book, called 'de magie van psychoanalyse'.

Because of the copyright demands, I can no longer present the individual papers in the form of pdf or for-sale formats.

But the good news is, you can view all the information on the book and order it, right from the link to the left of this text.

So I hope you can still find useful information and an interesting vision on the healing of the earth if you want to.

It is in Dutch. Anyone care to translate ? :-)
the spirit of the world of the spirit
In an attempt to bundle my thoughts from the last five years on the practice of social revolution based on the ideas and insights of Freudo-Lacanian psychodynamics, I have brought together the major part of my blog writings in one big and practical paperback.

You can check out my blog to find out what I am writing about, and if you like it, why not order this collection of thoughts you can read offline and keep on your bookshelf for dipping into whenever you feel like it.
world & psyche
In this book, made up of several themes, I try to analyze what it is to be human.

What is enlightenment, and what is it about gambling that makes it so very popular?

How can we see the different psychodynamic structures, as portrayed to us by Lacan, and how can we understand them, in relation to music even? Can the musician help us understand emptiness, the final analysis?

Special attention is given to the problems the native people face, considering especially their care for the natural spirit and the spirit of nature, within as without.

In dealing with psychodynamic evolution and the return to innocence, we deal with the many facets that make up the human being's spirit, and return often to the enigma of psychosis.

The book is available both as a print and as an Apple Book. It contains many illustrations as well as a rich list of books to inspire further reading.
dansen met de psychoanalyse
This is a very special book.

It is both theory, autobiography and fiction.

If I had to say what it was about, because it contains a number of varying essays, it is about psychosis, the logic of it, its psychodynamics, coupled with a quest for treatment as well as implications about the resolution of the psychotic struggle for social organisation.

As I see it, there is a struggle going on between God, the body, and the devil, the mind. God wants to have free play again in the movements and inspirations that are given to the psychotic patient, but the mind, with all its ties and connections to the interests of the artificial and fake human world, will not surrender. The ego, which is the center of the mind, gives God a fair lesson in fears and delusions.

How can we help God, is the main subject of this book, which is, for a change, also written in Dutch.
duiken in de psychoanalyse
In this book I talk about events in my life that led me to become psychotic. I try to illustrate the problem the ego-person has with the love of the soul. I try to put the individual psychological structure next to the social structure, and to envision health in both areas as related. I talk about priesthood, about the devil and about getting sick and healing.
A diversity of subjects pass the review, a modest amount, but I remain true to my usual topics and the framework from which I approach them.
I hope you may find it inspiring and enlightening.
dromen van de psychoanalyse
As usual, I am addressing in this book matters of a psychodynamic nature, crisscrossing the structural genesis of the human psyche with the structure and logic of the sociological.

I try to advocate a world of enlightenment, on the level of the individual, fighting his or her fears, as well as on the level of the collective, struggling with repression on a social scale.

Many topics are discussed, as they presented themselves in my inspiration. The topics may be as diverse as an right arm or a left leg on the human body, but they all are connected to the central spine of Freud-Lacanian psychoanalysis, clarifying the latter whilst at the same time using the theory to plea for practical application.

I hope you may find it enjoyable to discover what I've written, and maybe even want some more. Currently, I am still writing and expanding the book, but you can always find the latest version here ready to order and read.

In Dutch.
spelen met de psychoanalyse
This book is once again varied and very broad in its scope.

I bring up certain topics again, firstly because not everyone has read all my books, so it is good if you can find the same information in multiple sources. Second, because it is good to repeat an important vision so that it remains in consciousness a bit more lively and doesn't fade to quickly into the background. I also enjoy emphasizing different aspects of a dynamic in different versions, so that is why it is never quite the same.

Furthermore, there are of course many topics that appear only in this work. Topics like death, the human logic of the ruling 1%, budo as a road to world peace, hysteria, the sacred rites of Dionysos and many more.

For the moment, I believe I will write no more. It has been good but I am tired, and I do believe the world has some catching up to do before they can get bored of reading the same couple of books over and over. I believe I have given people a lot to think about and have opened some interesting questions to guide them on their future road to development.

So it has been enough, that is how it feels, and I also get the feeling that the well has run dry. I have given all I had to give, it is time now to receive a little.
psychoanalyse tussen de Boeddha en het kwantum
This is a collection from all of my other works, except 'the spirit of the world of the spirit' and 'the magie van psychoanalyse', which is under copyright even for me.

Less relevant essays have been filtered out and only the most potent pieces have been taken up in this informative and diverse book.

Subjects are 'psychodynamics', 'sociology', 'therapy', 'sex', 'religion' and 'science'.

These are the main themes I could distill from my years of research and development and they are what I wanted to talk about, citing myself as I have written about them throughout the years.

I hope the reader will find a good overview of my theory and many interesting points of insight as to how psychoanalysis lends itself to generate worthwhile insights into the structure and functioning of the world, as diverse and bedazzling as it may be sometimes.

In the end, I hope we may, through this effort, all find clarity in seeking a way to move forward that is sensible, intelligent and positive.
toen Freud Maharishi ontmoette
Because my first birthday as a Transcendental Meditator is approaching, I have collected the handful of texts I wrote about this topic in one small volume.

I discuss things such as the vision of an ocean where thoughts rise up, the idea that consciousness is clouded by the object it is conscious of, and more.

I try to rhyme insights from the Vedic tradition with my understanding of Freudo-Lacanian psychodynamics, and as far as this goes, I realize I am still far from understanding the profound teachings that underlie this wonderful meditation technique.

In a way, the little brother from the modern West is trying to put his tiny hand in the giant hand of his older brother from the far and ancient East.
planeet Aarde
op de sofa
This book begins with four mini pocket books, which have been published separately. Two of them are in English, the last two are in Dutch, as is the rest of the book.

I try to plea for a proper recognition of the nature and function of the ego, in order to make it clear that we should not keep on trusting this instance and relying on it blindly, for blindly is the only term appropriate for the way we are behaving and acting for the moment.

We should wake up and become aware, cautious and careful, to be making the right decisions and use our consciousness more explicitly and clearly, because there is a fight to be fought and to just deny this is in fact the surest way to end up in a state of mere misery in the end.
vechten met Freud
This is once again a collection.

This time the theme is martial arts, and what I have written about them throughout my seven books on psychoanalysis.

Texts are both in Dutch and English, and combine insights on the psychodynamics with ideas about budo.
de mystiek van psychoanalyse
This book, which seems to become my last one, is a bit smaller than usual. For the most part, it consists of one long chapter addressing the relationship between man's inner and outer world and the ways we can choose to change it for the better.
Added to this are some more common chapters elaborating on different subjects along the lines of psychoanalytic theory and hopefully adding useful insights and ways of viewing various parts of our experience.
A smaller book, and a bit different, it nevertheless contains valuable and precious information I think, that may help people to advance in their insight, vision and understanding.
